’68 Tigers and what is happening in Detroit

Bill Dow is a Birmingham resident and a Senior Major Gifts Officer at the Beaumont Health Foundation where he has worked since 2012. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Detroit College of Law. (now MSU)

He previously practiced law before becoming a stay at home parent and freelance writer.

For the past 17 years he has written numerous freelance sports articles and other features for the Detroit Free Press, Baseball Digest, Hour Detroit magazine, DBusiness magazine and the Oakland Press. His work has also appeared in USA Today.

He is one of the authors of the upcoming book, Tiger Stadium: Essays and Memories of Detroit's Historic Ballpark, 1912-2009 to be released by McFarland this coming January.
