Interim Director of Earthworks Urban Farm, Capuchin Soup Kitchen

Wendy Casey is a Detroit native with a passion for trying new things. After working over a decade in the insurance industry, Wendy decided that she needed a change. She was motivated to pursue her interest in learning about growing food when she applied and was accepted into the Earthworks training program in 2014. As a participant, Wendy acquired knowledge of how to grow food using organic practices. She was hired as the Community Outreach Specialist in 2014, and is currently the Interim Director of Earthworks.
