Chilakamarri Ramesh is a Lafayette Clinic, ( aWayne State University program),  trained psychiatrist with a wide range of experience.

Upon graduating, he joined Wayne State as faculty and continued with the University psychiatric clinic even after Lafayette Clinic closed its doors.

He has been involved in teaching advanced level psychiatric residents since 1988 and is currently involved in clinical supervision of Wayne County Authority Psychiatric residents.

He is Board Certified in adult, addiction and geriatric psychiatry.  He is also trained in dynamic psychotherapy, which he is practicing at his Royal Oak clinic.

He has over 25 years of experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric illnesses in all settings, inpatient, outpatient and partial hospital program.

From September 2016 to May 2017 he completed a Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Fellowship, an intensive program at the Michigan Psychiatric Institute.

He is a lifetime fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
